The Smoky Valley Education Association and Smoky Valley Schools recognize members of the community who are making a positive impact on our students and schools. This month, we would like to recognize Sonja Taylor and Kelly Sauvage, our fabulous high school Administrative assistants.
Kelly and Sonja are the two bright smiling faces one sees when walking into the HS office! They both always have such a positive attitude and patient demeanor when juggling the many tasks of answering phones, helping the high school staff, and assisting so many students everyday.
As a coach, Mrs. Ramsey often breezes in the office to ask for a bus list, a list of student absences, leaves messages for Mr. Nelson and Mr. Swisher, inquires about an update on packages ordered, requests to hand out fundraiser flyers and much more! And that is just dealing with one person!
As a parent, they respond to her phone calls and emails with such kindness, respect and professionalism. Never once do they make Mrs. Ramsey feel like she is a bother and they always work diligently to help whenever needed.
Often times, folks in these important jobs go unnoticed because they are the behind-the-scenes people but please know, these two ladies are professional, thorough, and kind to all who come in and out of the HS office!
Thank you Sonja and Kelly for making a difference in the lives of our Smoky Valley students, staff, and parents!
