Smoky Valley Public Schools administration and Lindsborg Police Department were contacted late Monday (9/12) evening with information about a potential threat made through social media towards Smoky Valley High School. The Lindsborg Police Department immediately started an investigation into the incident.
The Lindsborg Police Department continues its investigation into the criminal threat. This investigation is ongoing and numerous people of interest are being interviewed by LPD. Smoky Valley High School will hold classes on its regular schedule on Tuesday. The district is working with the Lindsborg Police Department and other community agencies to ensure the safety of our students and staff. There will be an increased law enforcement presence on Tuesday. Anyone who has specific information related to this threat should contact the Lindsborg Police Department.
