To Parents of SES students:
Due to an increasing number of staff and students at SES either testing positive, experiencing symptoms, or being exposed to COVID, Soderstrom Elementary School will begin Remote Learning tomorrow (November 4).
All students PreK - 4th grade will continue with learning at home for two weeks, and will return to regular face-to-face instruction back in the building on Wednesday, Nov. 18th.
SVMS and SVHS will continue with regular classes in the school buildings. SVHS and SVMS will start remote learning on November 5. Click here for more information.
An informational meeting will be conducted for parents on Zoom this evening at 7:00 PM. The meeting was recorded and can be accessed here:

More information about what a Remote Learning Model school day looks like can be found here: USD 400 Remote Learning Model plan
Additional information can be found on the Smoky Valley Returning to Learning page.
The USDA is offering lunch and breakfast free of charge to SVHS, SVMS, and SES students. Because SES is in a Remote Learning Model, you'll need to signup and pickup meals for your SES student.
If you'd like to reserve and pickup meals for your child, please sign up using this link before 9:00 am:
11/9-11/17 Meal Pickup Request Form (This is an updated form, so please fill it out, even if you filled one out for the week of 11/4-11/6)
Meal pickup will be daily from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm. The pickup location for SES students will be at Soderstrom Elementary while meal pickup for both Smoky Valley Middle and High School students will be in front of the High School on Viking Blvd.
